I'm thrilled to announce that To Take the Shape of the Container will open at Jack Straw New Media Gallery in Seattle Fri. April 5th. For almost a year now, Jack Straw has supported the making of this show, enabling me to learn from and work with their talented staff of sound engineers. It has been an amazing time of creative growth and I can't wait to share the new work with you all. The press release is below.

To Take the Shape of the Container is a multimedia exhibition that interweaves experiences of contemplative practice with loss and persistent mental imagery. From visions of death, to repetitive acts of quietude – visual dichotomies structure the work. Drawing inspiration from the mind’s perception after many days in deep silence, the installation will emphasize the acute awareness possible when the white noise of city life is absent. Grounded in corporeality, sound is utilized to both enhance and exaggerate physical awareness. We can hear and feel our own blood pumping, if we pay close attention.
